CHILD PROSTITUTION IN THAILAND
I believe that the best solutions to ending the child prostitution is that laws need to
be enforced and there must be law officials of certain levels to enforce so that these laws
can be obeyed and also so that the numbers can be minimized and controlled. The
situations are getting out of hand and these minors are being exploited and forced to do
things that are inappropriate and harmful to them in many ways. These kids are getting
harmed and they are contracting dangerous diseases like HIV. Over 70 percent of these
girls that are rescued are infected.
Cops should arrest men that are seen doing sexual acts with minors. Any child
willing having sex for money should be arrested. And should not be allowed to accept
the money even if in need. The party enslaving the kids to do sexual chores and
promoting it should also be arrested for being an accomplice the acts. Also if the families
are allowing the children to sell themselves to bring money should also be arrested too.

Brianies Reaserch Paper _On Child Prostitution inThialand
Child Prosistution is one of many problems in the world, but now we are focusing oin is Thialand. It's sad to hear that children are selling their bodiesto complete strangers, or anyne else at that matter. You might think that the world prositution only relates to females, but you would be wrong, as well as females, male can also be prostitues. When we see children involved in prositution we ask ourselves why? Well, there are many answers to this question but the main answer is that they need the money. They might have it to help there family most of them are living in poverty. But i still feel that it is unbeliveable that kids under the age of 18 are being held responciable for things like that, its like the weight of the family is on that child.
And it is amazing how the amount of prostitutes increaseing over the years. The Public Heath Department esimates that there are approximatey 75,00 prositutes in Thialand, no one os actually accurate about this information. Knowing that problems about this is that most of them are under the age of 18, do they never really had a childhood. Its sad to think that sometimes it is the parnets who sell their own tchildren into this.
Being a child is the time inyour life whne you play and have fun, laugh. You shouldn'y have a care in to world, oyu don't know about the real world yet. These kid are so young and innocent, they don't understand. they get tricked and drugged. If people who are in this business should be caught and be thrown in jail for life.
There used to be slavery, i'm sure we all know about that, so i'm not going to get into that. But now this child prostitution/ prositution is being called "Morden Slavery" The reason is because these people are working for someone eho does not treat them well. Well dressed Thai crimnals show up at a very poor village pretending to be people they are not. He tricks parents into thinking he is takeing their duagther or son to make them better. But that is not the case. Sometimes he wil take them and make them do things they don't want to. They might starve them, make them work without any pay. And the child would never be able to see her family again.
Thialand is currently called "Disneyland for pedophiles" because it has up to 600,000 AIDS cases. I peronally think that the people involved in this game are people who don't care about them self. As long as they get their money they're good. They don't care about the childrent they are hurting, and they familys they mess up. When the young women who are prositutes get pregnate might end up passing a diseae to their child.

The density of the land is 326/sq miles. The currency of the land is Baht. Also Thailand is the only country in the Sounthern part of Asia that has never been colonized bu European powers. The main religon in Thialand is Buddhism. it is the size of Califonia, and roughly the same size of Spain.
The climate of Thialand called monsoons. The temperture are mostly rainy, warm and cloudy. The north of Thiland is very mountaious with the peak of the elevation Doi Inthanon at 2,576 meters. it also consist of the flat Chao Pharaya river valley which empties out into the Gulf of Thailand/ The south has the Kra isthmus and then turns into Malay Penisula. The Kra Isthmus is very hot and humid.
The economy of Thailand is very good. It trades 105 billion dollars worth of stuff every year. It mainly trades rice, textiles and footwear, fishery products, rubber, jewlary, automobiles, comouters and also applances using electrcity. Thialand in the number one rice trader in the world, trading 6.5 billion tons of rice a year. 55% of the world land is used in the production of rice. This story was about how in the middle east and north Africa there is a big problem because most of the childrenin those regions are being exploted. About 87% of the children in those two places have been sold to a rich person. That person will tell the girl's parnets that he needs her to clean and he would pay her, and send her back to her family. Most of the times her family would be poor, so they needed the extra money. Unfortunaly that would not be what would happen. Most of the time the girl will be forced to have sex wit the man and even women sometimes.
I think that as the United States, since we are a very rich country, we should try to educate these other countries. Because parnets and families there kids into slavery and don't even know it. And i seems no one cares. If you think about it, what if is was the other way around. What if the U.S.A was a 3rd worls country, and we having the same problems. I honestly don't think that no one would helpm us. So i think we should try to be diffrent, and set an excample. Sometimes girls try to prevent these problems by early marrige. But a problem about that is that soon lead to early pregneancy.

Prostitution is a world wide problem!! But to me it seems like people all around the world try to act like it is not around them. One very sad thing is that not only adult women and men are prostitutes. There are also child prostitutes. This was really sad and scary for me to hear. The children who are brought in to prostitution are as young as eight years old. Child prostitution is a worldwide problem. Most of the problems with child prostitution are coming from Thai land, Great Britain, Germany, France, United States, Japan and Asia.
Child Prostitution is a growing problem, in Asia alone, over one million young boys and girls engaged in some kind of prostitution. Indications say that almost in every part of the world, the number of children being harmed by this behavior is growing everyday. One of the things that some people who deal with prostitution have a fear of is AIDS. A bad thing that some people believe in is that kids or younger sex partners are free of disease. I think that that is really stupid, but I do realize that not all people are educated on the world. Prostitution in illegal in Thailand, nevertheless, like any other crime it still happens Thailand’s government is really trying to crack down on this problem.
Studies say that prostitution has been around for along time. Prostitution has been known to be one of the oldest professions. Prostitution’s been around since the Mesopotamian times. In Victorian era (1840-1900) they were known to look down on people who did not totally give their lives totally to religion. Nineteenth century feminist including Elizabeth Cady Stanton was inspired to start looking at prostitution not viewed in male terms but, see women as victims of male society. Other people in this time say prostitutes as horrible man-sucking vampires. But the feminist didn’t see them like that. But back in the day’s child prostitution was really not that big. But there was also male prostitution, but it was keep really quite because it was thought that two men having sexual encounter was worse then anything a women prostitute could do.
Many girls were not found in the streets back in those days. But today, you find men, woman, boys and girls selling their bodies for money or drugs or anything else!! But to me it is really sad and also very scary. One boy that I read about that really interested me was a boy from Bangkok who instead of being called a prostitute was called a rent boy. He had started selling his body at the age of 9. The men who abused him gave him a bag of five pence pieces (money). By the time he had reached the age of 13, he was being passed around between a group of men. There was also a girl who caught my eye, she was living on the streets and she was just 12 when she stated she said “A man approached me one time…I didn’t want to do him and the geezer had me up by my throat threaten to kill me, I was actually really scared, I didn’t know whether he as going to knock me out or do what. They could just stab you, they could take you down n alley, they could rape you, and then kill you, they could do anything.” Some of the kids and adults who are in this business are addicted to drugs, mostly crack cocaine.
I think that this is a world wide problem, and I still feel that our government really is not doing anything. I feel that many governments are not doing anything to stop what is going on. I know that for some men and women and even kids, this is the lifestyles that they choice. What about the kids who didn’t wan this for then self’s. What happens to the children, men and women who are being forced to do this? Then what happens these peoples bodies are found dead somewhere? What about their families, and friends and people who care about them? The definition for prostitute is an exchange of sex for money. Maybe the people who do this feel that this is the only way they can make money, but it isn’t. They should really consider how much danger they out them selves into each time, the get into a car with someone, or go anywhere. Think first, be first try and find another way out!!

Prostitution has always been a world wide problem, but its sad when people drag kids into it. Child prostition is a problem in many diffrent places, especially in Thiland. Both boys and girls under the age of 18 sleep with over 20 adults every night for under 10 dollars. The numbers are not positive but, the Public Health Department estamated that there are about 75,000 prostitues in Thiland, who are under the age of 18.
